FAI Hang Gliding and Paragliding Commission (CIVL)

CIVL Sport Class Working group led by Thomas Milko, Brett Janaway and Kuba Sto has launched a massive survey trying to understand the attitude of the pilots of the various rank and competition experince towards the proposed criteria of CIVL Sport class ranking and FAI 1 events. This data will be used in further work and consultaitons with the designers.

The survey was run amoung all pilots in WPRS with valid emails subdivided in to 4 main groups:

• Pilots ranked 1-300 in WPRS
• Pilots of any rank who have at least 1 Sport class event in the WPRS
• Pilots ranked 301-1500 without at least 1 Sport class event in the WPRS
• Pilots ranked 1501+ without at least 1 Sport class event in the WPRS
